After Hours appointments are available on certain holidays, weeknights and weekends. These appointments can only be scheduled using the self-scheduling tool on the patient portal. There may be an additional fee applied to these types of visits, and we advise checking with your insurance plan for more information.
For urgent questions, you may reach the pediatrician on call for phone advice by calling our office at 775-900-9987 and the answering service will assist you. No prescriptions will be provided over the phone.

Emergencies
If an emergency should arise, please call 911.
Otherwise, please proceed to the nearest emergency room immediately.
If your child swallows something that could be toxic, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222 for immediate help, even if they show no signs or symptoms of sickness. For coins, magnets and batteries, please proceed immediately to the nearest emergency room.
For cuts/lacerations that require staples or sutures, please proceed to the nearest urgent care or emergency room. Our office can remove the sutures and staples at a later date.
For orthopedic injuries, such as broken ankle or arm, please go to the nearest emergency room or orthopedic urgent care such as a ROC Express Walk-In Clinic or Swift Urgent Clinic.
